We get asked all of the time by clients and prospects about the best practices in social media to get the highest returns. Did you know that the best time to post on Pinterest is Saturday night between 8 and 11PM? Yep, people aren’t looking at your bakery’s cupcakes on a Wednesday at 2PM on Pinterest. Do you know what twenty words to use on Twitter to generate more shares, comments, and clicks? For each social network it’s different. Don’t bother posting anything without a photo or infograph. New research out from Accenture Interactive is predicting that earned media will be more important and receive more support than paid and owned media over the next 5 years. In a survey of senior marketers from around the world, nearly 40% of the interviewed said that digital budgets will account for over 75% of their marketing budgets.
