So, Joel Burger and Ashley King are two college sweethearts from New Berlin, Illinois. They’ve known each other since kindergarten. Last week, the State Journal-Register announced that the couple were getting married. The news if the Burger-King union reached someone at Burger King, who then contacted them set up a Skype phone call to tell them that they’d be paying for the whole wedding. The only catch – Burger King wants them to name their first born “Chicken Fry”.
Genius. Seriously, what could a wedding in New Berlin, Illinois really cost? This tactic is way more interesting and endearing than those stupid Chicken Fry spots they’re currently running. They should edit the Skype call and just run that until Chicken Fry season is over.
